Available in Step 2. ===== Step 1: Connect the screen to the computer ===== Connect a USB-C cable to the Sharp screen (PC/MEMORY port) and to the Windows computer. <WRAP center round important 40%> Make sure the device is visible from the File Explorer (if not, disconnect and reconnect the screen to the PC). </WRAP> ===== Step 2: Download and extract the installation archive ===== ==== 1. Download the zip ==== Please download the Zebrix installation zip for Sharp ePaper screens using the provided link (see box below). This archive contains all the tools and files required to install Zebrix on a Sharp ePaper screen. <WRAP center round download 40%> Installation script download: https://downloads.zebrix.net/zebrix-epaper-install.zip </WRAP> ==== 2. Extract the zip file ==== Extract the ZIP archive using your usual compression/extraction tool, or use Windows’ “Extract All” option. <WRAP center round important 40%> Warning: it is absolutely necessary to extract the content of the archive. Simply double-clicking to access the content will not work for the following steps. </WRAP> ===== Step 3: Enable Debug mode (ADB), activate developer mode (specific to Sharp E-paper screens) ===== {{:fr:arborescence.png?200|}} In the extracted folder, run the **EPsettingService** program located in the **Sharp - EPsettingService** folder. {{ :fr:epassistanttool_serviceassistanttool.png?800 |}} Go to the **Service Assistant Tool** tab, then click on **Set** to enable developer mode, and close the application. ===== Step 4: Launch the installation of the application on the screen ===== ==== 1. Install Zebrix on the screen ==== {{:fr:installandroidepapersharp.png?200|}} Start the Zebrix installation on the screen by running the **install-android-epaper.bat** installer from the extracted folder. <WRAP center round important 40%> A program will launch with PowerShell (terminal) and run scrcpy to access the screen’s Android application. </WRAP> ==== 2. Set the “Zebrix Signage” application as the default app ==== A new application will open: Click on the circular button at the bottom of the window {{ :fr:installationzebrix.png?800 |}} Click on the book icon at the bottom left from the device interface via screencopy {{ :fr:screencopy.png?800 |}} Select the Zebrix Signage application and close the popup {{ :fr:screencopymenu.png?800 |}} ==== 3. Configure the WIFI network on the screen ==== Press the gear icon to access the settings {{ :fr:accueilapplicationparam.png?800 |}} Select Network and Internet {{ :fr:paramwifi.png?800 |}} Switch the toggle to trigger the scan of available networks. {{ :fr:wifionsharp.png?800 |}} Select the network, and click on **connect** {{ :fr:choixwifisharp.png?800 |}} Enter your network password {{ :fr:motdepasse.png?800 |}} Go back to the previous screen with the left arrow button to return to the settings menu. ==== 4. Set the screen date, time, and time zone ==== <WRAP center round important 40%>Setting the date, time, and time zone of the screen is a very important step. If not completed, it may cause the screen to malfunction.</WRAP> In the settings screen, click on **system**. {{ :fr:parametressharp.png?800 |}} In the **system** screen, then click on **Date & time** {{ :fr:systemsharp.png?800 |}} Then select **Date & time** {{ :fr:date_time.png?800 |}} On the Date & time page, there are three actions to perform: * Set the date * Set the time * Select the time zone (your time zone) Click on Region {{ :fr:setregion.png?800 |}} Choose the country where the screen is located {{ :fr:region.png?800 |}} The time zone of your screen is now configured, you can return to the home page. ==== 5.
