Web distribution channels
Introduction With zebrix, you can create a webcast url, which you can use to transform to broadcast content, such as a playlist.
Creating a webcast channel
Click on the channels tab in the tab bar on the left of your screen to access the channels and screensavers page.
Then, in the channels page, to add a channel, press the “+“ button on the action buttons.
You can then choose between web channel and screen saver, in this case we're going to create a web channel.
You must then choose a meaningful name for your channel, in this case we are going to broadcast on a clickShare Barco, to find us easily in the list, we have given this name to the channel.
Our channel has now been created, but for the moment no content is being broadcast on it. We need to add 2 pieces of content, one that will be broadcast as a playlist and one as a placeholder, i.e. a fixed image that will be displayed when the broadcast limit is exceeded.
Creating the placeholder
To configure the placeholder, access the hardware tools by pressing the cogwheel button located in the action buttons at the end of the line of the newly created channel.
In the hardware tools mode, at the bottom of the options panel, you can configure the number of times the playlist is broadcast each month (this number of broadcasts will also depend on your contract), with a maximum of one million broadcasts.
Below, to add a placeholder image, press the Add button.
Then exit the hardware tools to return to the channel list.
Use the URL of the web channel
The last step is to copy the URL of our channel. To do this, go to hardware tools, then to the computer tab, to access the url.
You can then copy the url directly from the copy direct link button and paste it into the web interface of your hardware, which will then broadcast your zebrix content. Make digital signage with your Barco ClickShare clickShare Barco by following the linked tutorial. But you can also integrate an iframe into your website. To do this, specify the height and width of the window you want to display and copy the piece of code directly into your html page.
