How do I configure a wall of screens on a SAMSUNG screen?
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Please define :
- the number of screens you wish to use horizontally and vertically, 1 x 2 (if block of two screens) or 2 x 2 (if block of four screens)
- the position of the screen in the wall of screens (1, 2, Etc…) or auto-id
- choose “Full” mode: the image is not cropped, but this can cause visual inconsistencies.
- choose “Natural” mode: the image gives the impression that it is passing “behind” the spaces between the screens. This mode is less disturbing for the viewer, but the image is cropped to achieve this effect.
Step 5
In order to physically set up the screen wall, you need to define the position of each screen on the wall, so as to connect them in series (block of 4 screens). On older generation screens, we use Display Port in/Out:.
Choose your first screen. At the rear of the screen, connect a DisplayPort cable to the “Display OUT“ output. This same cable should then be connected to screen number 2, on the “Display IN“ output. This operation must be repeated from screen 2 to screen 2 (on the opposite side), and from screen 2 (on the opposite side) to screen 1 (on the opposite side).
On new-generation screens, we only chain HDMI 2.0 :
Choose your first screen. At the rear of the screen, connect a DisplayPort cable to the “HDMI OUT“ output. This same cable should then be connected to screen number 2, on the “HDMI IN“ output. This operation must be repeated from screen 2 to screen 2 (on the opposite side), and from screen 2 (on the opposite side) to screen 1 (on the opposite side).
