How to install zebrix on a SAMSUNG ePaper screen?

Compatible models: - Samsung EMDX 380V

Step 1: Updating the screen firmware

1.1 Prepare a USB drive with the firmware update

Firmware download: https://downloads.zebrix.net/S-RSEDWWC_1030.11_USB_Common.zip

1.2 Plug the drive into the USB port of the screen - Attention requires a type C USB drive 1.3 When the drive is detected, the screen updates automatically; the process takes a few minutes 1.4 Once the screen is updated, it restarts and displays an initial configuration page; if this is not the case, you will need to press the ON button

Step 2: Installing the setup app on a smartphone

2.1 Downloading the app:

- On iPhone: scan the QR code displayed on the screen to download the app from the Apple AppStore - On Android: do not download the app from the PlayStore, you need to download a specific version of the app here:

2.2 A request to use Bluetooth will be launched on the smartphone to pair with the screen

Validate the Bluetooth pairing (Bluetooth must be enabled on your smartphone)

2.3 Connection to the available WiFi network:

The screen must now be connected to the same WiFi network that the smartphone is also connected to You must therefore select the WiFi network and then enter the WiFi security key so that it is transmitted to the screen

Step 3: Finalizing the screen configuration via the app

3.1 You must validate the terms of use of the screen by the manufacturer to access the next step

Press next to continue the installation

3.2 You must then select the type of configuration

Press Manual setup

3.3 Select the screen orientation

Depending on its positioning during installation

3.4 Other settings

- Device sleep after = Always ON - Network Standby; On (default) - Automatic date and time: On - Set refresh time: 01:00 (default)

3.5 Server address

3.6 Enter a PIN code and name the screen as desired
