Playing a Web Radio (Audio Stream)
Introduction
It is possible to broadcast live music using a screen or a player running under Zebrix.
By default, whether you are using a SoC display or a Zebrix player, the audio will be played through the built-in speakers of the screen. It is also possible to broadcast through a sound system using the analog stereo audio output (mini-jack) of the screen or the Zebrix player.
What can be streamed?
You can broadcast a web radio from its streaming link. It can be a public web radio providing a streaming URL, or a private one if you use a custom in-store radio service.

How to Broadcast in Zebrix
Creating a “Webradio” Page
First, create a new page and name it for example “webradio”
Add a new zone to the page
In the “General properties of the zone”, select the type “web”, name the zone “webradio” (for example), and set its size to 1 x 1 (the zone should not be visible)
In the content field of the zone, copy/paste the webradio streaming URL
Save the page
Add the “webradio” Page as a “Floating Page” in Your Playlist
Edit your playlist
Click on “Change floating page type”, choose “Static”, and save the playlist
A new button “Add a floating page” will appear. Click it and select the “webradio” page created in the previous step
Save. The screen or Zebrix player will now broadcast the webradio along with your playlist.
Limitations
On a SoC display (for example, Tizen), only one audio stream can be played at a time — only the web radio audio will play, video audio will be disabled.
On a Zebrix player, the web radio stream will play simultaneously with video sound. If you don’t want overlapping audio, use videos without sound.
